At this cabin, you are 15 miles from the quaint town of Clayton, GA-be sure to go a bit further & stop on the Hwy 76 trail head & take a look at the Chattooga River (where the movie Deliverance was filmed-it's a short walk) If you want to raft or kayak, there are plenty of places to get equipment & help. While you are in Clayton, be sure to stop in Tiger, GA & enjoy some wine tasting at a local winery! Clarkesville is 19 miles away. Vogel State Park is 24 miles away (the have a great swim beach area). Dahlonega is 35 miles away (Think gold panning and wineries!) , Cleveland is 21 miles away (Babyland - Cabbage Patch Dolls - Got grandS?) The scenic railroad trip runs out of Blue Ridge to McCaysville (fun trip) - it is an hour and a half each way, but worth it!
